A letter to the future me

Preparing notes, and by accident saw this message that I wrote down in 2022…

“I hope you know who you really are. And I hope you find the work that you truly love and enjoy. If you want to try something, go for it! Never leave a moment in your life regretful. Remember, you are still young, and there are all those opportunities that await you.”

2年前的我真的好热烈好真诚
I don’t think I’ve changed too much still, though definitely am thinking a lot more and becoming a lot more realistic now. That’s an unavoidable part of growing up isn’t it?

That’s still my letter to the future me regardless of if it’s another 2 years, 5 years, or more, and I want to add one more piece.
“I hope you still embraces life and challenges no matter what. You happened to be part of the world, with a peaceful life and supports from people around you. That’s already a miracle and privilage, so follow your heart and be part of where you feel you belongs to. Be brave and be empathetic!”

Wondering how I would feel when I look back at this in the future.
